This week, we want to introduce you to Des Prentice, an account executive here at Qualifi. Des is based in Nashville, TN, but travels the world enjoying a truly remote lifestyle. Des works closely with our prospective customers to help them get the most from their Qualifi deployments.
What do you enjoy most about your role at Qualifi?
The best part about my role at Qualifi has been the opportunity to build our sales motion completely from scratch. It’s given me the chance to learn about what moves the needle for not only our buyers but the HR market in general.
Currently, I’m working on improving the outbound sales motion for myself and the rest of our sales team here at Qualifi. I’d actually love to switch places with Emma for a day to learn more about how our users are interacting with the tool.
How do you unwind when the workday is done?
My favorite way to get to know the rest of my team is just a classic happy hour - the separation between the “office” and happy hour really helps me understand my coworkers better!
It might sound a little simple, but just laying down is a great way for me to disconnect from work, and transition back into my home life. I’m also always watching the NBA whenever it’s on!
What else should we know about you?
I was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands, but I can claim two separate hometowns.
And no, you’re not seeing double on the Qualifi website - my brother DeSean is one of our co-founders!
